A noise ordinance is a local law or regulation that sets limits on the amount of noise that is permissible in a particular area during specific times of the day or night. These ordinances typically specify acceptable noise levels, quiet hours, and penalties for violations. Noise ordinances are essential for several reasons: Quality of life, health and well-being, property values, safety, and community harmony to name a few.
